TheCincinnati Recreation Commission is made up of five (5) board members and two non-voting youth members. The Commission holds monthly public meetings and is responsible for setting CRC policy. The current board members (as of 1/09) include:

 | Rev. Smith is a mayor-appointed board member and was elected President by his fellow commissioners in April, 2008. Mr. Smith has been a member of the commission since February, 1993, and his current term extends through January, 2014. |

 | Ms. Denno is a mayor-appointed board member whose current term extends through January 2012. Ms. Denno was appointed to the Cincinnati Recreation Commission in June 2008. |

 | Mr.Hunter Phifer will be the Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s Youth Commissioner for 2012. Mr . Phifer is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and is currently a sophomore at Walnut Hills High School. He is recently, a former CRC recreation intern and has been a summer youth daycamper from ages 5 – 12, which has made him very familiar with the various CRC activities and programs offered as a small youth and pre-teen. This previous experience from which he draws brings a fresh youthful view to the CRC board. |
