The City consists of 52 separate neighborhoods and covers about 78 square miles, 2,835 lane miles and 3,945 city streets. The Cincinnati Business District (CBD) and Neighborhood Business Districts (NBD) areas are swept by Contract Sweepers at an annual rate of 14,297 miles and 7,500 miles respectively. The Department is responsible for the remainder of the city. The CBD and Over-the-Rhine (OTR) areas are swept nightly.
